Sarah Fuerst, MA, LP, Co-Director

Areas of Interest/Specialty: Children, Adolescents, Young Adults, and their families, complex trauma, anxiety, depression, play therapy, animal-assisted therapy, person-centered therapy services

Introduction: Sarah values a systemic approach to providing services to individuals and families. She is passionate about supporting clients through challenges in a cooperative, safe, positive, and culturally respectful way. She is committed to community partnerships and providing education. She is an elected member of the Minnesota Stated Advisory Subcommittee for Children’s Mental Health. When she is not working, Sarah enjoys time with her amily and their three dogs.

Licensure: Master’s Level Licensed Psychologist with the MN Board of Psychology and a Minnesota Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy approved supervisor

Education: Master’s degree in Counseling and Psychological Services from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota

Additional Training: Post Graduate Certificate in Trauma Studies University of Minnesota, Animal Assisted Therapy, Play Therapy, Circle of Security Parenting Registered Facilitator, ACE Interface Trainer
